
We give each other support when it comes to the ups and downs that are the Turf Lifestyle, but why should we stop there? Some of us have been chatting about getting back into exercising more regularly, why couldn’t we get together and help each other be more accountable and get back into shape? The more experienced athletes helping the women just starting out? Everyone encouraging each other?
That’s EXACTLY what we’re going to do!
We’re going to work together to start (or keep) working out regularly while we work towards a virtual 5K that will benefit our friends at the Wee One. Everyone wins here! We get in shape while helping and encouraging each other and in the end we raise some more money for Wee One.
How do you get involved?
We’re going to put our brand new forums to work with this one. We’ll be adding new threads for you to comment on your progress, encourage others, share your knowledge, tell us about your playlist, and we may even have some suggested workouts for you. Get involved with our forums and be a part of the fun!

Have a smart phone? Here are a few great apps to help you get started. (Links are for iPhone) All these apps are free and highly reccommened by other WoT members.
- C25K Trainer
- Nike+ Running (You don’t even need the little sensor in your shoe anymore)
- RunKeeper
- Fitbit (You will need to have one of the Fitbit Activity Trackers)
Alone or together, these apps are a great tool to get you started and keep you going.
Coming next spring…
Use the fall and winter to get back in shape because come March we’re going to have have our Virtual 5K to benefit Wee One.
